Terms of service
The rules for using OuttaScope responsibly.
The service
OuttaScope helps contractors document extra work, request customer decisions, and track billing status. You remain responsible for your contracts, pricing, taxes, licensing, and legal compliance.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, protect account access, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. If your plan includes team members, you are responsible for the roles you assign them and for removing their access when it is no longer needed.
Subscriptions
Paid access renews until cancelled and is billed immediately on checkout -- there is no trial period on a paid plan. Current prices and plan limits are shown before checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated.
Free plan
Every workspace starts on the Free plan: no credit card, and no expiring trial. Free includes 2 customer approval sends total, for the life of the workspace. Capturing extras, editing drafts, and viewing your existing records always keeps working. Sending a 3rd approval is blocked until you choose a paid plan.
Customer approvals
An OuttaScope record is evidence of the information and action captured by the service. We do not guarantee that a record satisfies every contract, signature, lien, or legal requirement in your jurisdiction.
Your content
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, including descriptions, prices, and any photo or document you attach to an extra, and you represent that you have the right to upload it.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, impersonate others, probe or disrupt the service, send abusive messages, or use OuttaScope to mislead customers.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, non-payment, or activity that puts the service or other customers at risk. You may stop using OuttaScope at any time; cancelling a paid plan is described in Subscriptions above.
Disclaimers
OuttaScope is provided as available, without warranties beyond what the law requires. To the extent the law allows, OuttaScope is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as OuttaScope changes. A material change is reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
