OuttaScope

A save or upload failed

OuttaScope never pretends something saved when it did not. An error message means the save has not been confirmed yet -- and that your local work is still protected.

A submit failed

If saving an extra fails (bad signal, timeout), your draft remains protected on your device for 24 hours. Move to a better connection, reopen New Extra, and submit again. Do not re-type from memory -- the draft is there.

A photo upload failed

Check the basics first: photos must be 15 MB or under, in JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC format, at most 5 per extra. Then retry on better signal. A photo that failed to upload is reported -- a photo you see confirmed on the extra is genuinely stored.

"Subscription required" on save

A "Subscription required" message means your Free-plan lifetime send limit or your subscription state is blocking new work from being added -- the save was refused, not lost. See Free plan limits and subscription states for exactly what unlocks it.

Something else keeps failing

If the same action fails repeatedly on a good connection, note what you were doing and contact support with the approximate time -- our logs are structured to find it fast.

What happens next

After any recovered failure, confirm the extra shows on the Extras screen -- if it is listed there, it is saved.
