What Reports shows you
Reports answers the questions you cannot answer from memory: how much extra work have I recorded, what is waiting on a customer, what is approved and ready to bill, and what happened on a particular job. Every figure is read from your own OuttaScope records.
Overview
Totals for the dates you selected: how many extras you recorded and their recorded value, how many are waiting on a customer decision, what is ready to bill, and what you have marked billed or paid.
Approval pipeline
Every extra grouped by where it actually sits -- draft, awaiting a decision, revised, approved, declined, billed, paid, or voided -- with the dates OuttaScope recorded and how many days anything sent has been waiting.
Ready to bill
Approved work you have not marked billed yet. This is the list to work through before you invoice.
Customer & job history
Pick a customer or a job and see everything recorded against it, including its current revision and the decision dates on file.
What "recorded value" means
It is the total of what you wrote down, at each extra's current price. It is not revenue, not profit, not money in your bank, and not an accounting figure. It tells you what you captured, nothing more.
Filters
Set a date range with the presets or by picking dates, and narrow by customer, job, or status. Filters are applied by OuttaScope's server, and the same filters are applied to any CSV you download.
Your subscription is separate
What your customers owe you for extra work and what you pay for OuttaScope are two different things. Reports only ever shows the first.
Account activity (owner and admin only)
A fifth tab, visible only to owner and admin roles, lists every sign-in for your current team: who, when, from which platform (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, or Linux), and the IP address it came from. A teammate removed from your workspace stops appearing here. It has its own date-range and platform filters and its own CSV download, kept separate from your money reports because it is account-security information, not a commercial record. Opening this tab requires two-factor authentication to be enabled on your account first.
